Monday, June 28, 2010

The IPA Institute has added Best Practices for Government Project Management to its growing list of Project Management Institute (PMI)-accredited programs. Available by 4th quarter 2010, this new program is intended for all involved in the definition and execution of federal government projects, including both agency and contractor staff. The alignment with PMI will enable participants to claim 16 Professional Development Units (PDUs) through the organization after completing the seminar. In order to claim PDUs, attendees must complete the PDU Activity Reporting Form located on the PMI Continuing Certification Requirements site (Provider Number: 2767 / Activity Number: INS-GOV).

As a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), the IPA Institute offers a full suite of project management courses, all based on Independent Project Analysis' (IPA) extensive quantitative research of actual projects. The IPA Instititute's course catalog includes the 13 PMI-accredited programs listed below. Visit the Program Catalog page to view all of the programs offered by the IPA Institute. Make sure to check IPAInstitute.com frequently for updates, as all courses will soon be registered with PMI.
