Mary Ellen Yarossi
Mary Ellen began her work at IPA in its early years further developing and applying the Project Evaluation System (PES®) to individual projects and project systems around the world. She directed the Industry Benchmarking Conferences for 10 years and established the program as well as worked on research studies. At these conferences, Mary Ellen was responsible for the analysis of competitive metrics and industry trends.
Mary Ellen joined IPA after 10 years of varied industrial experience including manufacturing management, R&D, planning and inventory control, quality assurance, and process engineering. She developed manufacturing processes for new products, receiving a patent for one of these processes. She has participated in startups of new processes and has been responsible for cost reduction projects. In her industrial experience, she managed a major manufacturing facility. Mary Ellen holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University.
