Carlos Tapia
Carlos started to work for IPA in 1996 in the areas of Refining and Upstream Exploration and Production with an emphasis on projects in Latin America and megaprojects. In 2000, he was made responsible for the formation of a Latin America group at IPA; this resulted in the opening of the Centro de Proyectos Latinoamericanos (or Center for Projects in Latin America – CPLA) of which he is Director.
Carlos has earned degrees in Chemical Engineering in Perú (B.S.) and in the U.S. (University of Rochester; M.S. and Ph.D.).
