Small Projects and Gatekeeping Courses Featured at IBC 2012

Released on Wednesday, February 15, 2012
The IPA Institute will feature two of its courses at the Industry Benchmarking Consortium (IBC) 2012 by sharing one module from each of the following: Best Practices for Small Projects and the all-new Gatekeeping for Capital Project Governance.
On Wednesday, March 28, a to be announced module from the all-new Gatekeeping for Capital Project Governance seminar will be featured. This new course provides gatekeepers, or key decision makers, with a set of tools to aid in the complex and often difficult capital investment decision-making process.

On Thursday, March 29, the Portolio Management module from the Best Practices for Small Projects course will be featured. This seminar focuses on capital project planning and execution in the context of small and plant-based capital projects. Organizations spend between 30 to 65 percent of their capital budgets on small projects (less than US $10 million).

Featured Module:
Portfolio Management for Small Projects
Focuses on practices for aligning small and plant-based projects with business needs, covering issues that can greatly affect smaller projects such as cash flow restrictions, as well as issues related to portfolio management and project selection.
