Alejandro Carvajal

Alejandro Carvajal joined IPA in early 2006. Since then, Alejandro has conducted project evaluations and site and system benchmarkings for the European sites of major international oil and chemical companies. He has been primarily involved in analyzing projects for the refining and petrochemical industries in Europe and the Middle East; however, he has also participated in evaluations in Latin America for the minerals sector.
Prior to joining IPA, Alejandro worked as a Site Manager for ICA, the largest contractor in Mexico, and gained experience in field project controls and cost estimating. Later, he was employed by the University of Reading, lecturing students in Quantity and Building Surveying, while earning his Ph.D. in Construction Management.
Alejandro holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (UDLA) and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Construction Management, with a specialization in Visualization Technologies and Project Management, from Reading University, United Kingdom.
